At long last, I have a working refrigerator again. I had tried two other options for the repair: first (at my landlord's suggestion), checking to see if the condo association would handle the repair. When I found out they didn't, I asked the association manager if he could recommend a reputable repair man. He was happy to do so.
Unfortunately, I then spent the next week playing phone tag with the repair man. When he promised me a visit and a phone call on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and then never showed, I gave up on the phone tag. Unfortunately, we were now into Thanksgiving week which meant I was unlikely to get a repair man in at all.
On the Monday after Thanksgiving I hit Kudzu to try and find another repair man. I found a good one, who came by on Thursday (at my request; he'd originally suggested Wednesday but I didn't want to back that up against my doctor's appointment). It took him about an hour to diagnose the problem as broken drain lines behind the refrigerator, and replace them for me. He was also happy to give me an extra service order and receipt, that I could send it to my landlord for reimbursement.
As he left I asked him if he had any cards I could pass around and he gave me a couple. He also gave me one that was backed with a magnet, which I was happy to place on my refrigerator, adding to my nascent magnet collection.
The funny thing is, all of the magnets on my refrigerator have been obtained after I moved to Atlanta. I didn't have any in Raleigh; in fact, when I'd gone out of town one time I'd had to tape the pet sitter instructions to my refrigerator door. Apparently, though, times change, and my refrigerator now has several.
(The repair service, by the way, was Delta Electronics & Appliance Service. I definitely recommend them.)
He's Even Johansen from Norway. The place he played felt like a conference room in a business complex. We sat in a row of upholstered stacking chairs lined up in front of him.

Rush staff gathered on Monday morning to celebrate RUMC’s 5th consecutive Magnet nursing designation.
Set of 3 magnets which are very handy for your refridgerator, filing cabinet or other metal surface. Use them to hold take-out menus or important phone numbers. Or, they can hold nothing and just sit there looking all shiny and pretty.
These 3.2 cm (1.25 in) round magnets are decorated with original marbled art. The marbled art on the magnets is exactly the marbled art that I pulled off the marbling tray. I rinsed it, I dried it, I scrutinized it for flaws, and then it was used to decorate these [useful little things].
The marbled patterns are made by dragging rakes and combs across floating paint droplets. The contrast of the colors emphasizes the fine details in the patterns.

This was created for the Zen Magnets 2R-Hex Architecture contest ... zenmagnets.com/blog/?p=236
The end result is a very portable Zen Corporate Headquarters Building design doubling as a trans-warp universe hopper spaceship ... making it possible for Zen Magnets to be anywhere in the galaxy and beyond.
The challenge on this design was two-fold: limiting subunit designs to 2L-Hex sheet variations and getting something balanced and architecturally stable enough to stand up on its own without the use of a metal sheet.
This was constructed entirely of 2-R-Hex (2-layer Hexagon sheets) folded and combined in various ways.

The combined 4 sheet 2-R-Hex (1 + 3) starts the component build details (Starting from the base section to the top).
Bottom block detail. Bottom fastener is countersunk so it is flush when in place. Drill a 1/16" hole through to the other side for the string. Don't fit-test the fastener until you drill the hole to the other side, you'll have a hard time getting it back out if you did a good job... don't ask me how I know!

Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin (vocals and drums).
Monster Magnet's style is heavily influenced by 1970s space rock such as Hawkwind, and proto-metal bands such as Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, Captain Beyond and Sir Lord Baltimore. In addition to recording covers such as Black Sabbath's "Into the Void" (Master of Reality, 1971) and Hawkwind's "Brainstorm" (Doremi Fasol Latido, 1972), Wyndorf sometimes incorporated elements of space rock staples into his own songs. For instance, the Dopes to Infinity title track borrows some of its lyrics from "Lord of Light" (ibid.), and Superjudge's "Twin Earth" is a reinterpretation of Captain Beyond's "Mesmerization Eclipse" (Captain Beyond, 1972). The main guitar riff to the track Dopes To Infinity is lifted from The Sir Lord Baltimore song "Woman Tamer" (Sir Lord Baltimore,1971). The band has also cited British new wave / post-punk band Depeche Mode as an influence on its music. They have also covered "Black Celebration" for a 1998 Depeche Mode tribute album.
