I’ve loved VW vans forever. Although I’ll most likely never own one, they did inspire me to get our camper vans.

The usage of Magic Buses has become a more common sight on service 150 as of recently.
With yesterday throwing another one onto the cross city service from Trafford to Gorton, I found my spot here just below the Trafford Park Kellogs factory tunnel.
Seen here passing Kellogs down Park Road is Enviro 400 Hybrid, 12049, in magic bus livery on non-Magic route 150 towards Fallowfield, Levenshulme, Belle Vue and Gorton

Some of the local routes around Hastings certainly have some challenging terrain none more so than that of route 28 and the climb on Wellington Road out of the town in a Trident is certainly something to be experienced!
Having tackled that climb already, Magicbus liveried Stagecoach South East 17663 V163 DFT is seen here being dwarfed by pylons on Malvern Way located on the ridge above Hastings and Ore whilst working route 28. Tuesday 23rd August 2016.
The last batch of Magicbus Tridents sent down from Manchester still retain the distinctive livery as their use as described above will only be short lived.

RM2121 allocated to Hounslow garage was w/d in 12/86, acquired by Magicbus Glasgow 11/87, later Kelvin Central then acquired 8/93 for preservation in Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire still current in L.T red.
Twenty-five brand new Enviro 400 MMC vehicles will enter traffic at Folkestone and Hastings on the Wave group of routes on Monday 5th December prompting a carefully orchestrated cascade the same weekend will allow the withdrawal of all non-DDA fleet members meaning the end of the use of the former Manchester Magicbus Tridents.
Approaching what could well be its final week in passenger service with Stagecoach South East, 17656 V156 DFT is seen on Lydden Hill having just branched off the A2 whilst working route 15. Friday 25th November 2016.

Raining today so I stayed inside. Rain and digital cameras that are not waterproof do not mix well (fancy that).
So I listened to a little Who and Magic Bus came up in the mix. This has always been a favourite of mine so it seemed appropriate for today's theme. And if you didn't know, thruppence and sixpence every day, is a line from the song.
