During my turnover with Bob Scagnelli on the morning of October 2nd, 1999 at Griifith tower, I'm sure the phrase "394's on the bell" came out of my mouth followed by "levers 19 & 25 are out", or something of that nature. Normally, though, at this tower, if you routed a train through the plant, the rule was that you stay until that move is done to protect the road crossing due to the gates being manually operated. I'm sure I told Bob 394 was approaching and I had it lined up, and he probably said, "Go home kid, I got it..."
Photo was taken during preparations for cut-over, that would happen by December 31st, 1999.

The MCW Metrobus were a reliable and well built bus that gave London years of service, preserved M394 is seen leaving Showbus 2014 at Duxford in Cambridgeshire

London Transport M394, a 1980 MCW Metrobus, was seen attending Showbus 2022, whilst at Hertfordshire Showground. This was blinded for the service 240 to Edgware Station. New to London Transport in 1980.

M394 has a pair of Dash 9's (2523-2621) for power with a good sized train in tow for MacMillan Yard.
