After my PNW shortline trip I expected to be home for a bit in TX, but my grandfathers unexpected passing had me repack my bags and immediately fly to NJ. Through the immense grief of the last few days I needed an escape and drove over the M&E shops this morning to find one of the GP15s in a decent spot for a roster.

This pair of standard cabs and unified train of covered gons looks good in the fresh snow taken from the M-35 over pass north of Palmer.

Another entry for the Roguebricks JahresChellenge. This time one of my all-time favorite themes M-Tron. It manly based on the Particle Ioniser (6923) from 1990. I am not completely satisfied with it because I couldn’t integrate the cargo main idea, or even some magnets. So, it turns more out like a scout ship then a cargo one. 😅

The pad is mainly inspired by this one by Filler Brick.

A rather dark example of the spring Epistrophe hoverfly which I think means it was cold when he was a larva. Photographed warming up on the garden Mahonia before starting his airspace patrols. Like Eristalis pertinax he tries to intimidate anything that gets into his space, including me.

I'm fascinated by the profile of his frons which looks to me like a human face.

From the constellation of Canes Venetici (Latin for Hunting Dogs)

M106 is the spiral galaxy on the left and is 22 to 25 million light-years away. A possible companion galaxy of M106 is the edge-on galaxy on the right, NGC4217, 60 million light-years away. Several smaller galaxies can be found in my image(if you look close :) )
