Hey everyone! I'm excited to finally announce I'm back. I'll be having time to log on again, less than before I started the new job but still more than the almost never from the last 5 months, and I'll be back on Flickr too since my office will be complete some time next week. I'm so excited to catch up on all your photostreams and share with you some new shots I'm working in a new moody kind of series I'm making. I'm really excited to create again, and I've missed all of you a ton! Look forward to seeing you all around again, I'll catch up on all your streams over the next month, but for now I just wanted to say I'm back and I've missed ya!

Phénomène particulier : dans l'axe du soleil, mon ombre est projetée sur le cairn, mais aussi au-delà, sur le banc de brume qui s'étire sur le fond de l'image, écran immatériel et éphémère.
Les Vosges m'ont pris il y a bien longtemps, mais voici qu'elles m'emportent, encore et toujours.
Happy long weekend! I'm supposed to be hopping on a plane tomorrow to get a good dose of my vitamin D but apparently the world had different plans. We aren't too disappointed. We are thankful to be home safely tucked away together with an epic easter egg hunt planned for this Sunday. :-) I'm almost as excited as my littles!! :-) Not going to lie...Florida would be nice but we can find our joy and happiness wherever and I'm once again reminded how awesome my girls are!

I love meandering through the hills here in Wisconsin...and this shot is because of that! There's a fairly new area of housing in south Sparta, that I just love. In fact, I would have enjoyed finding a home and settling down there! I guess it just wasn't meant to be! Nothing was available there at the time we were looking. :( At any rate, this shot is taken as I was meandering through that area of homes, and it came out at this location. I just love this barn, and had to capture a few pics while I was there.

I like chocolate in a hard, candied shell.

It's more disturbing from the inside...
Since taking the challenge of learning a bit about high key for macro Mondays I think it will be a good idea to learn more about low key as well. I believe this image qualifies as a low key shot. However, it does not count as learning about low key, it was an accident :) The flower was highlighted by the sun and there were deep shadows all around it.
I'm not really sure what I would use low key images for on a regular basis but the high key images will be handy when I have something to sell.
Regardless, I never want to stop learning, even if it is just for the sake of learning.
