This is a photograph of a lunar eclipse (blood moon) as seen from Colorado Springs, Colorado on the morning of 4 April 2015. The moon is over Pike's Peak in this photograph and it disappeared behind Pike's Peak shortly after sunrise. I took this photograph from a third floor balcony and a part of it can be seen here.

I didn't have a tripod so I used the top of someone's car and leaned the camera against the car's rack. Lawl. Since I couldn't really frame anything interesting, I guess these powerlines will have to do.
