AR365 Day 82
This depiction of the lunar eclipse from Conway AR, shows the moon totally obliterated by the activity of the earth.
Almost a complete eclipse at 2:50AM Pacific Standard Time on August 28th, 2007, as seen from Port Orford, Oregon. I set the meter for +2 overexposure. A grainy picture but it worked.
Lunar Eclipse - Dec 21st 2010 as seen from Tampa, FL. It was a clear night. Eclipse started almost 1:40AM EST and by 2:30AM EST, Moon was totaly eclipsed. Have taken here multiple shots as the eclipsed progressed.
Here you can see its totaly eclipsed
D300 with old 500mm Reflex Nikkor C f/8. The third photo at full was shot at 9:20 CST. I was shooting through a window since I'm a wimp and wasn't going to stand in the 2 feet deep snow at -5 degrees (I'm in Wisconsin).
Lunar Eclipse as seen from an airplane window.
It was a flight from NY to Moscow and apparently flying above the clouds only helped watching the moon. Shot handheld through the emergency exit window upwards. The last 3 shots were taken with one minute intervals with a guess on a direction to shoot because the moon could not be seen on the camera screen
