Lucky Charms Breakfast Cereal 6 Swirled Moons Edition Box Back 2/2014 by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube.
Spotted on the shelf at Target. For some reason they've gone all "retro" with the packaging on some General Mills cereal, yet they haven't returned to the traditional marshmallow shapes I remember from my childhood.
Cameo of lucky charm stones, charm necklaces and good luck jewelry gifts from Indalo Art near Mojacar, Almeria, in southern Spain.
Shot in Vera bull ring, Andalucia, this video gives a brief view of some of the products for sale in the Indalo charmstone gift shop and imparts a Spanish atmosphere of summer fun, vitality and a happy-go-lucky lifestyle.
The Indalo symbol - simbolo del Indalo afortunado, like Rainbow Man, is used as a good luck charm, talisman or amulet (encanto de la buena suerte) in many parts of the world and the pebble jewellery for sale by Indalo Art (piedras encanto) makes the perfect gift to say Good Luck, Best Wishes and With Love.

My breakfast.
This is the best I got today. I took other pictures but they didn't come out so good so I just decided to use this.

My little secret?
I LOVE Lucky Charms. Yes I know they are bad for me, yes I know they are 50% sugar, but I love them anyway. They are so expensive though, I'll only buy them on sale. But that makes it so much more fun when I do get to have them.
Sometimes I love being an adult.
I hope you had a good St. Patrick's Day and ate plenty of corned beef and cabbage--I know I did.
It is so nice that things here in Minnesota are beginning to thaw out and the days are getting noticeably longer. I always grumble about daylight savings time when it happens, but I appreciate the extra hour of daylight when I get home from work... It really goes a long way.
In other news, I recently switched web hosts. Hopefully this went smoothly on your end but there may be some errant problems hanging around. If you notice anything weird, I would really appreciate it if you would take a second to let me know.

If you used Lucky Charms coupons in the 70's, you probably got a box of cereal that looked like this!
Many firemen wore a Fire Brigade Talisman on a chain round their necks. It was fire proof and waterproof, and it contained a concertina type strip on which was printed your name, address, next of kin, blood group etc. Thankfully, mine was never needed but how nice to know that if your body was burnt to a crisp your remains could be identified.........!!!

Huh. Interesting how marketing differs for the same product across the border.
Despite the obvious size differences, our Canadian boxes still have the perforated lines to convert the box into a bowl. Did the American versions ever have this?
I found this smiling little Chinese (?) fellow on a New York fleamarket. It was love on first sight. He's standing in the kitchen. I guess he brings me luck. In fact I even wrote a little song (with my band The Faint Lights) about him. Listen:
www.last.fm/music/the+faint+lights/The+Smiling+Copper+Pig...
Lyrics:
the smiling copper pighead
woke up nightmarish and lost
the mist hanging in my head
knees cracking and sad
god I need some coffee real bad
pray to your idol
the smiling copper pighead
that reminds you
that things ain't so bad
they ain't so bad
climb the swinging stairs
to find it's never there
to where you expect it to find
you might as well have been born blind
pray to your idol
the smiling copper pighead
that reminds you
that things ain't so bad
they ain't so bad
make that change
make the boulders rearrange
set the sun on it's course
make the river find it's source
a morning cold and blue
I woke up next to you
kneel to your idol
the smiling copper pighead
that reminds you
that things ain't so bad
they ain't so bad

This just looks like American breakfast cereal, but there are 3 notable things about it:
1. This was in London
2. In an Irishman's kitchen
3. The cereal previous belonged to Madonna
The breakfast of champions!
My family took my little cousin out camping last weekend. I'm eating her leftovers. I would never get Lucky Charms.
