Probably the only assignment I may get to this week.
Assignment 3. Low Key. The opposite of High Key, this image will use darkness and shadow to stress the subject. The few light areas will caryy great weight in these images. We're building on Dave's Dark theme, but now technically and not philosophically. Tag with cwd233.
I caught this picture while my son was playing in the dirt with his cars. I really ended up loving this capture. The low key dark tones give it a powerful and emotional feel. This picture captures what it's like to be a kid to me. I love these little moments of watching my kids play and use their imaginations. Lifestyle pictures like this where you almost feel like you're there up close watching are some of my favorites even though you can see their cute faces. These will always bring back memories for me and I will hold on to them forever.

This one, instant model.
I went to the top of our building to take some cityscape. I saw a former Siemens colleague from IT Dept...and I made him my instant model to do the strobist....
So, if you want to be an instant model, stick with me...lol.
I did an angle shot to convey interest. If this shot will be taken in normal upright position, it will be boring...Low-key effect....
