Church of Kish, also known by different sources as Church of Saint Elishe or Holy Mother of God Church, is an inactive 12th or 13th century Caucasian Albanian church located in the village of Kiş approximately 5 km north of Shaki, Azerbaijan. It has functioned at different times as a Caucasian Albanian Apostolic church a Chalcedonian church within the Georgian Orthodox Church and later as Armenian Apostolic Church.
The Church of Kish is the best place anywhere to learn about mysterious Caucasian Albania, the Christian nation that once covered most of northern Azerbaijan. In fact, the church site goes back well beyond the Christian era.

BANGKOK, THAILAND - APRIL: Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon. The reclining Buddha measures 46 metres long and is covered in gold leaf. The Buddha's feet are 3 metres long and exquisitely decorated in mother-of-pearl illustrations of auspicious 'laksanas' (characteristics) of the Buddha.

This American Life • Theme Of The Week • MoPho Project 52 Weeks, creating 52 new images in 2012 for each week's TAL theme with the device I listen to the episodes on, Motorola Droid 3.
Each image for this project will be shot in 2012 and processed in phone with installed Apps. I then take it into Lightroom to add tags, title, caption and my watermark. So in essence each photo will be "straight out of camera phone" with no external image processing.
