It took me some hours... but here it is!
There were 3 flute players standing on the first floor each in a window of the building, the 3 guitar players were sitting on the street in opposite of the building.

So my friend Rose and I decided to be adventureous and set off in search of a local Mexican restaurant that served tacos de chicharrones.
That's right. Pork rind tacos.
Before you scoff, understand this- these aren't the air-puffed nondescript carb-free cheater things you buy in bags at Wal-Mart. You know the ones. They look like packing peanuts and taste vaugely like bacon. They were in vouge for about 20 seconds when snack food junkies discovered they were crunchy and had no carbs... perfect for Atkins.
No. These are not those kind of pork rinds.
These are hard to explain. The picture barely does it justice, but it was so worth it. The tortilla is handmade. The chicharrones, handmade as well. Pico de Gallo, queso fresca, a touch of avocado and a squeeze of lime and I was in heaven. All for a $1.50.
No-one working in that restaurant spoke a word of English. My modest Spanish skills were put to the test and I passed. I was fascinated with everything around me. There was so much to see, so much to hear, so much to take in.
But in the end...
I barely remembered to take a picture of the object of our travels.
It was a good walk. It was an amazing meal.
We're going back tomorrow. :)

I just had the pleasure of reading and finishing "Looking for Alaska" by John Green! I am in absolute awe of this book and cannot begin to describe how beautiful this book is to me. I want to find my own "great perhaps", just like Pudge did and I will someday. This book has taught me that death is inevitable even though I already knew that it emphasized it to a point where I feel okay about death in the fact that everyone has to die - the last words of President William McKinley were "we are all going" and he is right. We are all going no matter what we do to prevent it or not think about it. I also learned that if you keep the shower running to smoke, the steam supposedly clears the smell. :p cheers! Brooke and I were up and at the theater (the Rave) by 10:25 this morning. I bought tickets online (www.movietickets.com) for Dark Knight. I was so excited I was about to pop. Brooke had already watched the movie, as have just about all of my friends.
The movie was absolutely everything I thought it would be and then some. You know how most Batman movies are dark in the sense that you can't hardly tell what is going on because it's dark (no light)? Well, this one isn't like that. They actually have scenes filmed in the DAYLIGHT! Yeah! How about that?! The movie lasts for two and a half hours. You won't know that though. When it's over you'll think, "Nooooo!"
Ok, and you all know how much I've loved Heath Ledger over the past nine or so years, right? Well, his performance in this movie is better than I ever expected. I knew he'd be good, because I truly believe he was an amazing actor. However, that being said, and even if I didn't love him to pieces, I'd have to say that I can't imagine any actor (ANY actor) who could ever play the Joker better than Heath did. He BECAME the Joker. And if no one had ever said, "That's Heath Ledger playing the Joker," you'd not know who is playing that part, that's just how good he is.
I only have two things about the movie that I didn't care for: I love Christian Bale as Batman (I love him anyway), but I don't like how dramatically he changes his voice when he puts the Batman suit on. It's just odd the voice he uses. He IS my favorite Batman though. My other thing is that they didn't show Joker enough. The character was SO good...he should've had more screen time.
