*i bought the fatpack which has a color mix-and-match HUD for 5 different parts of the shoe so you can color how you want. i'm not sure if the single color boots come with this option...

also i am actually wearing pants, i swear i am (!) but this sweater is very long, even though my avatar is currently a lot taller than she usually is (in these pictures 5'9 ft, and i usually hover

body height around 5'6 ish). long sweaters are the best though... IRL as well as in SL.

Last week I had the pleasure to shoot with gorgeous Melanie in Porto Pollo, on the Italian island of Sardegna.

We met up early in the morning to take advantage of the beautiful soft light and to have the beach all for our selves.

It worked out quite well I think.

Went to yoga after work. There was a lot of snoring in the savasanah before the start of class; it's definitely been a long, hard week for everyone. Came home and made nachos for dinner and then, seeing as it's Holocaust Remembrance Day, watched Schindler's List and cried my eyes out.

The alarm went off at 7, and we checked the sailing waits out of Tsawwassen. Even at that time, the 9&11am sailings were full, and the12pm was 60% full! We decided to go through Horseshoe Bay on the 10:30 to Nanaimo, and drive the 90 minutes to Victoria from there. Horseshoe Bay is closer to us than Tsawwassen, so it only added about an extra half hour of travel time vs. several hours of just waiting.

The weather was improving as we hit Nanaimo, and by the time we got to Victoria it was almost fully sunny! We dropped our things off at Natalie's and then headed out to meet Ray & Lauren to taste beer at five nearby breweries (best: Driftwood; worst: Van Island Brewing). We killed a little time in Value Village before meeting Riley & Kate for dinner at Canoe. I was hoping they'd all get along, since Ray & Lauren don't have many friends on the island yet, and they did! So hopefully that will be of benefit to everyone in the future. After dinner (where Jeff had an amazing veggie burger and I had short rib tacos with house-made pickled cabbage), we went back to Natalies for a drink. Unfortunately Lauren was not feeling well, so she and Ray headed out early, but Riley & Kate stayed chatting and making us laugh until later. Jeff and I went to sleep in the strange novelty of a king-size bed.
