Looking through.... The Keyhole!!

I've been shooting with Lindsi for years - it's always a blast. She is such a sweet person, very photogenic, always positive, and a bundle of energy. She always brings a mix of outfits and dresses to suit her mood. I just step back and shoot away. We did this shoot in a local park on a lovely day in late September 2022. We started with some fitness clothes, the she was in the mood for flannel, and then some other choices. Excellent shoot but my camera and I were exhausted by the time we finished!

"Chi non rischia nulla non fa nulla, non ha nulla e non è nulla. Può evitare le sofferenze e l'angoscia, ma non può imparare, sentire, cambiare, crescere, progredire, vivere o amare. È uno schiavo, incatenato dalle sue certezze o dalle sue assuefazioni." --- Leo Buscaglia

The autumn blue sky seen through the golden leaves at Normanby Park in Scunthorpe, UK. November 2010. Laid out on my back taking this image looking up into the tree canopy of autumnal coloured leaves and a deep blue crystal clear sky. A classic autumn day.

Tree sparrow facts Measuring around 14cm from head to tail, tree sparrows are normally seen around hedgerows, farmland and woodland edges. Males and females look the same and mate for life. Tree sparrows feed on seeds, cereals and insects. The estimated breeding population in the UK is 200,000 pairs.

That is not one of the best shots, I know! But it's about one of my daughters looking outside in a very sunny day, while she's at home playng "mummy" (dressed in her mother cloth). It is so representing her will of growing faster and ever faster that I go beyond the quality of the picture itself.

Past this beauty whilst out and about Christmas Day. She was having a snooze until I opened the car window. Well I wasn't going to get out in the drizzle, was I?

The appearance of this old gent fascinated me, I just had to take a photo. But because I was watching him, I couldn't see what was obviously attracting his attention - we'll never know...

i really like the way that tree fit, i was looking up, tired on a hike and there it was. I moved a bit to fit everything in the gaps, softened everything and went darker trying to aim this towards a painting.

Overtoun Bridge, at Dumbarton, Scotland is the haunt of the world's greatest dog leaping mystery. With over 100 dogs leaping from the walls and parapets of this ancient bridge what might lie behind this terrifying canine phenomenon? Quoted from the Paul Owens website.

I have been working on the idea of multiplicty and also landscapes for my current photography assignment; I wanted to combine the two but also have a unique style.

I have looked at the work of others, and they're all very inspirational this idea was to have more figures in the shot, however it looked distracting and so decided on just the two with the backdrop of the lighthouse.

The textures came from two sources one from www.flickr.com/people/yndra/ of the Netherlands, an exceptional artist, and the other from Pye of the slr lounge tutorial.

Both are very inspirational artists, you should seek out their work respectively. The shot itself involves three photographs and two textures, in all seven layers to make this wonderful composition work. My feet did get wet and yes it was very windy, I believe the wind speed yesterday was gusting to ninety five miles an hour!

Although the water was actually warm.

Thanks
