Week 15: Looking Up ( April 9th -15th )

Well, I look up a great deal. Being on the short side, for a human, looking up has been a necessity all of my life. Then, there are the clouds. I bribed the bird.
The gnomes were just hanging out by their campfire.
The one who played the flute I suppose intended to attract a unicorn or fairy perhaps?

One of two uploads for a monthly challenge I'm doing with a group of Flickr friends. This month's theme is "looking up".
This is the RMIT Design Hub; a much photographed building. I've rarely been past it when there hasn't been someone pointing a camera skywards up the facade.

Cambridge is a wonderful place for trying panning shots of cyclists as there are lots of them wheeling about. Another benefit is the place has lots of tourists or dodgy blokes with cameras, so it’s easy to fade into the background.
Here is another one from the set I took earlier this year which is my first real play with this approach. The hit rate for these shots turned out to be higher than for most ICMs. They’re great fun - recommended.
