Uncovering Croatia's long-lost masterpieces is one of the running themes of this instagram, apparently! I almost had a heart attack when I saw this bust at #tefaf2016. It's attributed to Niccolò dell'Arca, an Early Renaissance sculptor from my hometown of Dubrovnik. 🙌 Spotted at the #TEFAF booth of #ottonaumannltd!

Long Lost

The Worcester Palladium

12/27/13

I don't think that Tanner and Khumbu have seen each other in over 2 years.

When Tanner started coming this week I was amazed at how much I thought he looked like on of our other dogs. When both Tanner and Khumbu were in on Thursday I was even more amazed. Their owners knew that they both had a near lookalike brother. It was confirmed later that day.

It should be an A&E Special or something.

So I was walking one of the mountains my family owns in the Vestfjord's and came upon these old shoes by the old road, the old road was abandoned about 50 years ago.

If only they could talk and tell us about it's travel's :)

I thought they looked wonderful with all the moss and the leather torn but still there after more then 50 years or so.

Stepping stones access… not for the hydrophobic…local kids love to play on it..Rivelin Valley nature Trail ,Sheffield ,South Yorkshire. Trip Advisor (Chair in River.) Yorkshire Post. Sheffield Star. Crookes Walking Map.

Sheffield artist Jason Turpin Thomson carved in polystyrene and then cast this fantasy iron chair .Sited on a crumbling weir in the middle of the River Rivelin-it could have grown in this beautiful, post industrial, Sheffield Valley. An ode to the longlost bodgers, coppice workers and steel workers of the Rivelin Valley.

Roots of Iron project officer for Sheffield City Council Catherine Nuttgens said”I wanted something that would encourage quiet reflection and appreciation of the River Rivelin, whilst echoing the woodland heritage and industrial architecture that can be observed all along the river’s banks.”
