cutthroat lake was a lovely stop on a very very hot day. There was a cool breeze from the snowfield across the lake, and there were plenty of little camp spots that we wished we had taken. if the weather had not been threatening later that afternoon, we might have moved up here for the final night. But clouds rolled in, and we stayed at Klipchuck.
this lake is 2 miles into a lovely hike to Cutthroat pass. The elevation gain is minimal and the trail is well graded.

I love coffee (aka kopi) in this part of the world. It's so strong and lovely.
On Saturday we skied the westernmost Mazama trails. We started from the Freestone Inn, and continued West and North. We had the benefit of a beautiful day.
Thursday. Rested up for the long weekend.
Friday. Partied at a friends place.
Saturday. Partied here with friends, then went to Comedy Sportz.
Sunday. Was going to a park. Got drunk call from a friend. Got invited to a kick ass party. Great time was had by all.
