This was a foggy sunrise at our campground. I added some grainy texture and gave it a B&W treatment for Sliders Sunday.

This photo was taken near the Deadvlei in Sesriem, Namibia. Huge and tall dunes dwarf out the few trees around. The reddish colour of the dunes is the result of oxidation of the high amount of iron in the sand.

A few years ago I cycled from Lhasa to Kathmandu. One of the most remarkable journeys I ever experienced...
The Stokksnes peninsula after a long winter with the iconic Vestrahorn Mountains giving a perfect backdrop.
The greatest loneliness is when you have people around you, but each person is in their own personal bubble, and when you speak they don't hear you, they ignore you, you feel invisible.. Until the day you stop talking because you feel the ice bubble that freezes you in the loneliness of lack of attention, of a hug, of a friendly word.
Oleg lies lonely on the couch, because Peter is with his friend Scout in Australia.

Ok...sometimes he is way too enthusiastic and that gives me a headache, but it is very quiet without him now.

It's often said to not worry about the things you can't change. With that in mind I set out for a walk and ended up at Hazardous Inc, found a comfy seat and enjoyed the sunset..and then playing with it for hours afterwards :D
