My annual valentines day (or as I like to call it "Hah-hah, you're a single loser day") picture - marshmallow peeps in a tree. Now I just gotta figure out what to do for St Patrick's day.

Where's that shamrock shake. . . .

Today was free museum day, so off to the Museum of History and Industry I go. This clock was commissioned way back in 1913, and was installed in front of Carroll’s Fine Jewelry in Downtown Seattle. When the store was closed, the clock was moved to MOHI, joining all the other historical Seattle exhibits.

A statue up in Volunteer Park of William H. Seward (the guy who bought Alaska), near the conservatory, looking very dramatic in Redscale.

The one downside to Redscale film? The emulsion scratches REAL easy, meaning I have a lot of work to do in photoshop to clean up the picture. This one, for example, was a real mess.

Not sure what possessed me to snap this empty meeting room - I liked the leading lines on the wall and table I guess.

A candid shot of a guy in the skate park, his head in his hands.

Actually the guy looked pretty chipper and not full of angst at all, except for the several seconds that I took this shot. It was more an exercise in how composition and color (in this case, my psudo-black and white) manipulate viewers into thinking of a certain mood that didn't actually exist.

Took this opportunity away from a kinda-sorta job interview so snap a picture of the front gates (Gates?) of Microsoft. Hundreds of nerds, all in one place!
