Well, it's a log covered in snow but the Crimbo season is well and truly over now for another 50 odd weeks.

My first twelve blocks, made from 1" strips, perfect scrap quilt, I can use up all the tiny pieces I couldn't bear to discard. My quilt will have 144 blocks....I hope!

This ancient log house on the Mt. Si Road appears to be used as a storage shed. There are several deteriorating house trailers surrounding this house. I wish I knew it's history.

Timbercut Log Homes from Stockton, Il built this log home in the rotunda to provide some feel for a log cabin during Lincoln's childhood.
