Hemlock Draw State Natural Area, Wisconsin. Not quite sure what's going on here, but I love the patterns.
Record rains through parts of Texas during late summer and early fall of 2018 created ideal opportunities for fungi to develop. I don't know the correct species names but gave them descriptive titles, when possible. Some of them are beyond describing but are just weird and fascinating.

Photography assignment at the zoo. Our photography lecturer told us to go to the zoo and our assignment was to take close-up photos of textures and smaller objects you normally don't notice. We were not allowed to take any pics of the animals. Supposedly to teach us to look for the shot that is not so obvious. Taken with Agfa CT Precisa 100 ISO slide film. I used 3 close-up filters (x1, x2 & x3), but unfortunately this gives you a very small depth of field and focus area. If only I could afford a Macro lens!
