East Harlsey won an incredibly tight game against Loftus to ease our relegation fears from division 1 of the Langbaurgh Cricket League. EHCC won on the last ball by 1 wicket.
Built 1876 ... since closing as a mill it has had a fascinating history:
... as a generator supplying power to the Wexford County Lunatic Asylum: as a tobacco curing station opened by Lieutenant Colonel Loftus Anthony Bryan JP DL (1867-1939) of nearby Borrmount House; and as a cleaning and packing station for the County Wexford Beekeepers' Co-Operative Society organised by Ernest William Davis (1896-1962).
Unfortunately we suffered a very heavy 184 run defeat to Loftus CC.
We did have a very young team out so I guess this is called character building.

Loftus Base is a research outpost for study of the mysterious lifeforms that inhabit the volcanic streams of Graidarrn. Among these fascinating creatures are the long-lived lava slugs, monolithic gastropods that dwell in molten lakes.
