"Maybe the sun gave me the power

But I could swim Loch Lomond

And be home in half an hour

Maybe the air gave me the drive

For I'm all aglow and alive"

No sunset but beautiful clouds, and absolutely silent and tranquil.

Taken in Torridon, Wester Ross, looking over a calm Loch Clair towards the mountains, Sgurr Dubh and Liathach..late evening shot.

Somebody fishing on this Loch near Dunkeld this afternoon.

Another shot from last month's trip to Assynt that started with a stop for sunrise at Loch Droma beside the A835.

We had travelled through very thick fog on the way and it was a relief to see it thin as the sun rose and the breeze increased leaving pockets of mist around the hills.

A particularly still day on the loch thanks to a ridge of high pressure creating a mirror like shine to be clearly visible on the water surface.

My first shot taken from our boat trip down the Loch from Balloch. It was a beautiful day and start to my holiday.

“Loch Ard” is one of the 22 lochs that can be found in the “Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park” Scotland. It lies just 5km to the west of Aberfoyle and offers not only spectacular scenery but also abundant wildlife and 16miles of forest trails to explore either walking, cycling or horse riding. In Autumn when the trees along the loch sides and hillsides take on their Autumn Ploom the colours are spectacular.

We made it to the end of the twisting and undulating road at Corran, but the weather was closing in. It looked like we were in for some heavy rain with dark clouds overhead We stopped just above Arnisdale for the last photos of the day, fortunately the rain held off until we were driving home.

This is a 2 shot panorama with Arnisdale on the left, Knoydart on the right with Loch Hourn between.

Loch Lomond from Luss.

A summer's day on the banks of Loch Leven. I found this log half submerged with the water lapping over it, I couldn't decide if it was man made or carved by nature.

Loved the reflections on this early morning shot of the loch as I travelled through Rannoch Moor on the way to Glencoe.
