Onshi-Hakone Park, situated in the renowned resort area of Hakone, offers visitors a serene escape with its panoramic views of Lake Ashi and the majestic Mount Fuji. Originally serving as a detached palace for the imperial family, the park now stands as a public space, blending historical significance with natural beauty.

The park's carefully maintained gardens, rich with seasonal flowers and traditional Japanese landscaping, provide a picturesque setting for leisurely walks and moments of contemplation. Visitors can meander along its paths, finding various vantage points that offer postcard-worthy views, particularly the sight of Mount Fuji framed by the vibrant foliage and the calm waters of Lake Ashi.

Onshi-Hakone Park also houses remnants of the past, including the well-preserved former imperial rest house, which gives a glimpse into the luxurious retreats of Japan's royal history. With its open lawns, picnic spots, and tranquil ponds, the park is a favorite for both locals and tourists seeking tranquility and a touch of royal elegance. Whether it's to bask in the glory of Japan's iconic volcano, enjoy the seasonal blooms, or delve into the park's history, Onshi-Hakone Park is a gem within the lush landscape of Hakone.
