KATHLEEN DUNCAN.April 13, 2010 - Annette O'Leary's friends clap after she (with a little help) blows out the candles on her cake at the Route 9 Diner. O'Leary's 97th birthday was in January of this year. She is a retired teacher of Northampton and meets with her teacher friends on the 2nd tuesday of every month for breakfast, today it was lunch and a birthday celebration. Sitting next to her are Wally Brown (right) and on her other side is Andrea Uhlig, Ruth Barton and Bill Johnson.

Pam got her locs styled today. She was so excited and so was I. I think I may go to her stylist one day. :)

I started my locs in feb. of 2008. Never been happier with them. No more work at keeping them neat than with a relaxer. The relaxer is not good for anyones scalp....at all. The dryness is awful and your hair is stiff. My locs swing and move just as much as if the hair would have been straight. My husband loves it, but formost is I love it and grateful that the Lord GOD gave me the insight to do the locs. Which I have started and maintained by myself. :=)
No locticians in my area.
Use your fingers to create the curl on damp hair, and the tin foil to hold it in place until dry or overnight. Perfect for shorter locs.

ICK gaat per 20 april 2009 buiten dienst, en in het kader daarvan een paar plaatjes van ICK uit mijn archief.
Hier staat loc 1767 met ICK aan de haak gereed om te vertrekken als IC 1940 Venlo - Den Haag Centraal.
