reversing with new transformer onto backroad to substation

A Caterpillar 966G Wheel Loader is outfitted with pincher claws to grab and lift redwood logs onto a conveyor which transports the logs into a sawmill. Once inside the sawmill factory, the logs are cut to certain specifications, and then sold to clients throughout the United States.

I loved all the strips of patterned paper and thought it would be a fun treatment for my planned double page of Diagon Alley.

My video is being a pain in the arse so I'll upload it as soon as I can (if I can get it to play!!) Once it's uploaded I'll come back and leave a link here.

This is one of the few times that I've seen an F40PH turned non-powered cab unit used for one of its intended purposes. The Amtrak station agent loads baggage into the cargo hold of NPCU No. 90215 as the westbound Wolverine works at the station in Kalamzoo, Mich. The NPCU is stopped over North Rose Street. Tanker British Mallard loading crude at the BP terminal late at night.

A lot of light can be hard to work in - theres so much light on this tanker that its hard to capture her without washing out the superstructure - I did manage some great shots i need to work on - water at night can work very well.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Comments - all welcome and wanted

I wanted to do something simple and minimal. I did it... sort of. Is there such a thing as glitzy minimalist? lol

The swirl is from an old lunchbox of Maya Road chipboard. I painted it with Mod Podge and sprinkled it with glitter. The brads are plain ol' gold brads that I dipped in the leftover Mod Podge and glitter. Viola! Transformed into glamour!

The days are long but the years are short.

I had a love/hate relationship with those days that we had “nothing” to do. They were the days that we didn’t have playdates or pre-school or groceries to get. They were the days when we would stay home and color with crayons, play with Polly Pockets, have tea parties, throw concerts and put together puzzles. These days felt like they went on forever but really, they lasted but a moment. In the words of author Gretchen Rubin - “the days are long but the years are short.” They sure are. 01.20.08

This was really hard but i got 'er done with no two products from the same manufacturer. Here's my list: Bazzil, Simple Stories, Jilly Bean Soup, Lilly Bee Designs, My Mind's Eye, Teresa Collins, Prima, Paper Studio, Scrapbook Customs, Making Memories, K & Company, October Afternoon, 7 Gypsys, EK Success, American Traditional, and 1 Unknown.

Loved today's prompt. I thought I didn't have anything worth scrapbooking until I started sorting through some pictures and remembered the day my son let me know he would not be graduating...less than three weeks before the day it was supposed to happen. This photo isn't from that conversation, but it was around the same time period, and the look on his face was PERFECT for the subject. I apologize for the quality...this "home print" will be replaced by a real photo after LOAD is over. Oh, and btw, he did graduate, cum laude, with a major in Physics and a minor in Math. He now has a very well-paying job in ... analytics.
