The 85 car didn't sport much of the "Hercules" Movie livery (Driver Tomy Drissi is a Film Ad Exec) on Raceday as it had the rest of the Weekend. Probably needed a new Nose at some point as you can just make out some of the Movie stuff still around the cockpit.

The Postcard
A Rotary Series postcard which was posted in London W.C. on Tuesday the 22nd. December 1903 to:
Mr. & Mrs. Roland Cunningham,
13, Castle Terrace,
Edinburgh.
Although the back of the card was divided (permitted in the UK since 1902) the name and address stretch across the vertical dividing line.
The Chicago Tribune
So what else happened on the day that the card was posted?
Well, on Tuesday the 22nd. December 1903, the Chicago Tribune reported that the Chief of Police had stated the previous day that interference with funerals by strike pickets of the Livery Drivers' or any other organisation had to cease at once.
Governor Yates concurred, and stated that if the police were unable to protect funeral parties, the State Militia might be called out.
