Keep those eyes peeled. Remain focused. Identify the obstacles. Overcome them. Keep on going.
The light grows ever brighter as you approach the end of the tunnel. However, don't forget that life's a series of tunnels, of various sizes and shapes, with their very own hurdles. Well, at least, that's one way of looking at it. Keep at it!

- You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese in France?
- No.
- Tell 'em, Vincent.
- A Royale with cheese.
- A Royale with cheese! You know why they call it that?
- Because of the metric system?

Another shot that I seem to have botched. I would have loved a wide lens as my interest was in capturing the bridge with the pond, but somehow I placed myself wrong and while the subject is wonderful the result is less then satisfactory. square format
I was recently given this hat as a gift by one of the cast members on a particular TV show I've been working on recently as a 'thank you' for assisting them and guiding them through their side of things during production. I guess I must have made some kind of impression. It seems that a smile and a decent dose of positivity really does go a long way.
Anyway, they must have figured out fairly quickly that I'm obsessed with hats, because they certainly hit the nail right on the head!
I'm still super stoked and blown away by their generosity, I must say!
Thanks so much! You know who you are.
Note: If you dig the look of this snapback, go to the Err Thang Fresh Official Street Wear website to check out more of their stuff. Their collection's pretty rad.

So sore today from digging up my garden. Those weeds are hard core. Note to self- in the fall I promise to plant a ground cover to enrich the soil and prevent the weeds from thriving.
This is Gordo. He's Sydney's famous 'Bucket Drummer'! I've seen him do his thing in Pitt Street Mall quite a number of time over the past few years, so I figured it's about time I shared his talent with y'all myself!
Learn more about him HERE and make sure to catch him in action HERE. He's pretty damn good! Enjoy!

I'm not entirely certain what the message on the back of this van has to do with the artwork on the side of the van. Hmmm...I don't see the connection.
Anyway, I appreciated the sentiment and overarching philosophy, so I had to capture it quickly and share it with y'all.
And then, I recalled these lyrics from the track 'Git Up, Git Out' (1994) by OutKast (feat. Goodie Mob) off of their 1994 album 'Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik'.
"[...] you need to git up git out and git somethin
Don't let the days of your life pass by
You need to git up git out and git somethin
Don't spend all your time tryin to get high
You need git up git out and git somethin
How will you make it if you never even try
You need to git up git out and git somethin
Cuz you and I got to do for you and I"
So, get up, get out, get something and live for it.
You just might create shock waves and inspire others to do the same around you. The positive effects of doing positive things with your own energy are quite astounding. Keep on pushing!

Surprises, that is. Some of them are pleasant, whilst others are just awful. It's how you receive them, let them sink in and let them affect you, that's important and defining.
