Another lith print I made on fibre base paper a while ago. I noticed that subjects that show structures and patterns with good contrast work pretty well for lith printing. I will try a lith print of a portrait next. The darkroom is already waiting for me!

Paper from Tim Rudman.
Lith print made from a digital negative. Print was made on Fomatone using Moersch developer. I added a little extra of the B chemical (accidentally), which seemed to give the print a more sepia coloring.
The original image was made in a very dark barn on the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC with my Nikon D80 digital camera.

Paper: Defender "Velour Black" R-2 glossy 8x10 expired 1949
Developer: Moersch SE5 1:1:10

This paper was extremely fogged and could not be printed normally using standard print developer with a restrainer. However, it works very well in Lith developer. Some prints have uneven development and splotches of fog on the edges. In my opinion the imperfections add to the mood of the images in this series.
