Un grupo ataviado con negras vestimentas, cencerros y grandes cuernos recorren las calles del pueblo uniéndose a los participantes del carnaval acosando y tiznando con hollín a todas las personas que se encuentran a su paso.
Los diablos de Luzón son considerados como uno de los mejores patrimonios histórico culturales de la provincia de Guadalajara, y reconocido como el mejor carnaval de toda la Alcarria, por lo que han sido considerados Fiesta de interés turístico provincial, no existiendo constancia escrita de una fiesta etnográfica más vistosa en todo Guadalajara, constituyendo una ancestral tradición revivida por la Asociación Amigos de Luzón. Se conservan documentos en donde se puede datar el origen de esta fiesta al siglo XIV, aunque se puede adivinar que habría que remontarse mucho más para averiguar el origen real de dicha tradición Oculta durante un tercio de siglo, debido a la pérdida de tradiciones como consecuencia de la inmigración a las grandes urbes por parte de la población rural, y a la censura de los carnavales por la dictadura franquista; perdida casi irreparable de no ser por la memoria de los mas ancianos que nos revivieron los rituales y vestimentas que hacían falta para una restauración de la fiesta. Los diablos, representan el lado carnal del carnaval, el aspecto demoníaco, aprovechando las luces y sombras del crepúsculo realizan su aparición con la irremediable intimidación hacia aquellos que los ven por primera vez y a aquellos otros que a pesar de haberlos visto todavía no tienen muy claro si debajo de las vestimentas hay realmente personas. Así los diablos solo respetan a aquellos que van disfrazados, o son mascaritas, donde estos disfraces actúan a modo de protección con respecto al acoso de los diablos; sin embargo, a todos aquellos que no participan activamente en el carnaval, los diablos los atacan manchándoles con su inigualable marca de hollín y aceite, provocando numerosas escenas de miedo, haciendo caso omiso a edad, cargo, sexo o religión. Antiguamente se celebraba la fiesta el domingo, lunes, martes y primer domingo de cuaresma, actualmente se celebra el sábado de carnaval, invitando la Asociación Amigos de Luzón, organizadora de los actos, a una merienda cena a todos los participantes, para superar el trance de la visita de los diablos.
La vestimenta de los diablos se compone de sayas y chaquetillas negras, el cinturón está recubierto por cencerros grandes, y en la testa unos cuernos de toro, todo el cuerpo visible está untado con una mezcla de hollín y aceite, manos, brazos y cara, en la boca una dentadura hecha de patata, y el calzado recubierto de tela negra, todo con la intención de resultar totalmente irreconocibles.

It is said the church has Saxon foundations, with a 12th century lower tower, the rest of the church being built in the 15th century. Excavations in 1975 suggest that this was the site of Bristol's first church; the 12th century city wall runs under the west end of the present church. It was bombed in the Bristol Blitz of 1940 and ruined. It is maintained as a monument to the civilian war dead of Bristol.
It has been designated as a grade II* listed building.
