Crazy Tuesday - Liquid in motion.

Strobist: 1x sb-800 lighting up white background @ 1/32. Two large white fills on each side.

The wavy reflections were caused by waves from the motor boat we were in as we travelled on Wollaston Lake.

CrAzYTueSday, today’s theme is Liquid in Motion:

I had an awesome time trying these out. I know they are not that clean, but thought of sharing this.

All thanks goes to Jamal Alayoubi for sharing the 'how to do' trick. Do try out and share your attempts and innovations!

For Active Assignment Weekly - Liquid in Motion

WIT: I tried to do the 'cookie splash' for this assignment. Then after I saw Wes' submission, I pretty much gave up, but still decided to give it a try. My dof is too shallow at f/2.5, and there is noise because I used ISO800, but I don't have enough light and I needed high shutter speed (1/640). Edited in picnik, and here it is!

This was a possible entry for Photo5 but in the end decided against.

A few of my loves encompassed in a single frame: photography, cooking, Speyside single malt whisky, 70% cocoa Belgian chocolate and specialty coffee when into the making of this cake. I went for an ordinary kitchen scene along with the associate mess from the action. The cake is delicious and was promptly demolished by all and sundry.

This is Lulu, my pit bull. She's about 5 years old and she loves being hosed down on hot days like this one.

Enoki mushrooms, white pepper, stock, spring onion and beaten eggs added in the making of egg drop soup to sate the midnight hunger.

Same situation...outside, night, spot lights....caught the shot right as the ballon burst still showing the shape of the ballon...I think this is a cool shot!

I set this picture up outside with my son as my guinea pig. It was night and I had a lamp with 3 spot lights directed towards my son and the balloon. He used a screw to pop the balloon as I tried to take the shot.

I set this picture up outside with my son at night. This was one of the first attempts...I was learning....I had a lamp with 3 spot lights directed towards my son and the balloon. He used a screw to pop the balloon as I tried to take the shot. It took a while to work out the timing.
