Linz am Rhein ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Neuwied im Norden von Rheinland-Pfalz nahe der Grenze zu Nordrhein-Westfalen, rund 25 Kilometer südlich des Stadtzentrums von Bonn. De Linzer Lokalbahnen (kortweg LLB of LILO) exploiteert een spoorlijn (normaalspoor) van Linz via Eferding naar Neumarkt in Oberösterreich. De foto is op het station van Eferding genomen met links stuurstandwagen 22 230 en rechts een oudje, elektrische locomotief 22 001 die in 1915 door Ganz & Co. in Boedapest is gebouwd.
The Linzer Lokalbahnen (LLB or LILO for short) operates a railway line (standard gauge) from Linz via Eferding to Neumarkt in Oberösterreich.The picture was taken at the station of Eferding with on the left trailer car 22 230 and on the right old electric locomotive 22 001, built in 1915 by Ganz & Co. in Budapest.

Prima lok 37044 met buizentransport hier door Linz aan de Rijn richting Neuwied.
1,5 Uur later volgde nog zo'n cargo richting het zuiden.

Die dem Erzengel Michael geweihte römisch-katholische Ursulinenkirche an der Linzer Landstraße wurde zwischen 1736 und 1772 mit zwei Türmen und einer spätbarocken Fassade erbaut. 1757 wurde sie geweiht. Die Gestaltung geht auf den Architekten Johann Haslinger zurück.
