This is my Ubuntu Desktop setup. I wanted something clean and simple.
The system stats are done through GKrellM. I was going to use conky, but nothing frustrates me more than finding a conky setup, and then modifying it fit the desktop. GKrellM might not be as customizable, but it's definitely just as powerful.

The RoomWizard is a computer appliance used to book meeting rooms. It runs a special version of Linux, and you can even do a telnet to it :). This one was booting after a reset, and you can see the message about checking the file system check :).
I couldn't manage to get a shot of the screen dumping the LILO prompt, but believe me, it shows in the beggining :)
