Probably the second most known and seen landmark in Sidney, Australia, the Harbour Bridge was built in the 1930's and continues to carry high volumes of traffic and trains across the harbor linking Sidney with North Sidney and the northern suburbs.
High Museum's elevators' walls are covered in metal links held together by cables. This is an iPhone close up of one such wall run thru the Circular App which was edited in PS.

Montana Rail Link's Local 840-28 (Helena Local) slows, as the crew prepares to make a meet at Louisville.
If memory serves correct, the first west bound had engine issues and as a result the local got held in the siding until after dark.

El dominio esquiable es de unos 200 km repartidos entre 106 pistas, principalmente azules y rojas. El 11% del dominio está cubierto artificialmente. Está compuesto por dos vertientes: por un lado Arc 1600 y Arc 1800 y por otro Arc 1950 y Arc 2000.
Los dominios de Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry y La Plagne están unidos por el teleférico Vanoise Express, y forman el dominio Paradiski, con 425 km de pistas.
Su punto culminante es el pico Aiguille Rouge, de 3.226 msnm, situado sobre el dominio Arc 2000 y accesible por teleférico.

Am Nachmittag des 10.August 2023 baute ich dann das Stativ wieder einmal am bekannten Motiv am Ochsenturm in Oberwesel im Mittelrheintal an der linken Rheinstrecke (KBS 471) auf:
Das Licht war gegen Abend einfach nur atemberaubend..... :
Schließlich kam auch mit nur ein paar Minuten Verspätung der schöne EC 6 von DB Fernverkehr aus Interlaken Ost in der Schweiz nach Hamburg-Altona mit seinem sauberen Wagenpark der SBB und die saubere 101 064 war als Zuglok eingeteilt. Juhuu😊.
Der gute Lackzustand dürfte auf die mittlerweile entfernte Folierung als Werbelok für den bekannten Modellbahnhersteller Märklin zurück zu führen sein.
Die leere Bundesstraße und der tatsächlich leere Parkplatz haben mich auch hier wieder dazu animiert hier den ganzen Blick um zu setzen den doch schon so viele Fotografen aus aller Welt besucht haben.
Hier wurden auch wieder keine Autos mit Photoshop entfernt!
Links zu sehen die Revierzentrale des Wasserstraßen- und Schifffahrtsamtes Bingen.
Weiterhin im Hintergrund rechts zu sehen sind auch die Liebfrauenkirche und die Burg Schönburg; heute ein Hotel.
Der markante Ochsenturm links und rechts der Katzenturm sind nach wie vor ein Top Motiv ab Nachmittag für Züge nach Norden.
Montana Rail Link's Missoula to Laurel Manifest is in the highest notch as it pulls tonnage over Bozeman Pass. The headend is approaching the tunnel which marks the summit of the pass sitting at 5,712 feet above sea level.

Bohemian Waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus)

During the winter and non breeding seasons they travel in large groups in search of fruit.
Supposedly the original "Bohemians" were travelers or refuges from central Europe. This species is therefore true to it's name and was in fact well named.

"Waxwings Really Have Wax Wings" BY Matthew L. Miller
"Waxwings really have wax wing tips. The bright red, visible on the wing feathers of some waxwings, is actually waxy red secretions. The red wax tips are appendages on the bird’s secondary feathers. They’re colored by astaxanthin, a carotenoid pigment.
While it was originally thought that the red tips functioned to protect the feathers from wear and tear, there is little to no evidence for this hypothesis.
Rather, the red secondary tips appear to be status signals that function in mate selection.
Interestingly, the red appendages of both Waxwing species increase in number and size with a bird’s age: individuals with zero to five waxy tips are thought to be more immature birds, while those with greater than nine are thought to be older.
Individuals within these two categories tend to associate as mates. Pairs of older birds (those with greater than nine waxy tips) nest earlier and raise more young than do immature birds, suggesting that this plumage characteristic is an important signal in mate choice and social organization.

Ocean Falls is noted for its abundance of rain – about 4,390mm/172.8in annually, and it is sometimes referred to as the “Land of the Rain People.” The Heiltsuk (helts-uk) First Nations people have inhabited the coastal region surrounding Ocean Falls for more than 9,000 years. The town is remote and only accessible by private boat, B.C. Ferries, or floatplane. It is situated around a waterfall from Link Lake (25km in length) straight into the head of Cousins Inlet, 88km/55mi northwest of Bella Coola.

I managed to capture no lines of people between these chain link dividers. Despite the economy, Disneyland attendance is actually up slightly compared to other theme parks.
I posted this in B/W as well because I couldn't decide which one I prefer.
Ein Platz an der Sonne in der "ersten Reihe". Links davon gibt es noch zwei Sitzbänke für die fantastische Fernsicht von Bregenz, über den Säntis bis zum Untersee vom Bodensee. In bequemer Sitz-Position entstand auch das nächste Panorama.

Montana Rail Link’s 844 local has just made a run up to Harrison to fetch a pair of empty fertilizer cars at the Harrison Elevator and is now arriving at Sappington, Montana, on June 27, 2023. The conductor (assistant engineer on the ground, on MRL) is about to detrain and sign out of the block register before the train heads east back to Logan.
