Qui l'eût cru ? Linear Luminosity a sa petite soeur !
Comme quoi, parfois les bancs alors que le soleil est au zénith offrent... de belles possibilités !

I recommend clicking on the expansion arrows icon (top right corner) to go into the Lightbox for maximum effect.

With my latest creation in the Iron Mountain Legion theme, I wanted to add some levity. It's a post apocalyptic military force, but I imagine their grip on historical record might be a bit lacking.
I imagine them recovering a prewar robot, and deciding to turn it into an inspirational tool, as well as a weapon. I also just thought that the idea of a robot Lincoln was hilarious, and once I thought of it, I had to build it. The name, of course, adds to the joke, Linear Neuralnet Cyborg 1 (LNC-1).
The creek bridge is barely wide enough for two to pass, but most of the time people politely wait for the way to clear.

yesterday was good.
Something I have been meaning to do for years, tonight I had time to go for a walk in the village up to the rapeseed fields. The yellow always strikes me as a stunning contrast to the countryside and wanted to experiment with my camera. I liked the way the green stalks, the flowers, the trees and the sky creates bands across this picture.
Concept: A goal-oriented mind is everything we really need to achieve our dreams. But be sure that before that you don't tighten your drives too much. You might get aslaved to your own moral, Mr. Kant.
Strobist info: an old shot made with a bare Speedlite on the front left (you can see the speculars pretty blatantly), but processed in PS to emphasize the face. E-TTL, ST-E2.
This shot took hours to set-up in a studio and was extremely tricky due to the reflective nature of the glass with such strong curves. In the end I had to build a light box to put the glass inside, otherwise I would have ended up worth lots of dotty reflections instead of smoth lines. I was quite happy with the end result.
