The lineup for the Jolly Toper whisky tasting. They are from right to left (the order they were tasted): 20yr Pulteney, 34yr Banff, ??yr Glen Keith, 9yr Glen Scotia (red wine cask), 16yr Laphroaig.
My faves were the Banff and the Glen Scotia. The Banff is £141 a bottle though, so not likely I'll get another go at it. The Glen Scotia was unusual in a really tasty way, and is a more reasonable £44. It was matured in red wine casks, which give it the lovely dark color and does some interesting things to whisky. I'll likely pick up a bottle of that.
The Glen Keith was sort of odd and meh for me. I didn't like the Laphroaig as much as I would have expected.
