This wasn't exactly what I was expecting to see on the opening night of the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, but when the opportunity arose I had my camera ready to capture this unique silhouette. Apparently someone had organized a conga line, and it just so happened to pass right in front of a ocean scape mural to provide a two tone backdrop.

Goodness knows what managed to bend a standard railway line in this way.

Despite hours of persistent rain, Eagles the won Battle Line 59…again. Sorry for the sloppy, moist photographs. Hoping next week will see a dry Eagles victory.

1) This picture was taken outside in the parking lot.

2) The compositional element I used is line. I had to get to the side of the cars so i can get the line of the road and the line of cars parked.

3) I could have changed the angle to include more cars.

I tried to find the 16th St. portal to the State St. Red Line subway. I found it after walking into this baseball park. It was obvious that someone else had been here because the wild grasses were flattened.

I was super excited and I got some great shots.
