Graduation gift from my loves <3

when I did the dishes.

My fav cup, which i was given a few years ago, broke today in a very nice way!! I tried to cushion the fall with my foot which worked (to a degree!!) but immediately thought of this project.

Maybe because it was free the coffee always tasted nicer!!

Ahh well turning the loss into a shot for utata is a consolation at least.

Peggy Lee is wearing a Vintage Inspired Princess Dress from Plastic Fashion...on etsy. We love this dress, Laura! Thank you so much!

Love Through Design is proud to announce the "Mo Cases" Limited Edition Collection in collaboration with Gallery Of Mo. The cases are designed by artists and are in aid of Movember - an annual, month-long event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male cancer and associated charities. Dress by Mimi Chocolat! Thank you, Carla! This is such a sweet dress!

Surviving cancer and using art as a tool for healing, reflection and understanding has infused my art with a sense of energy and optimism that has a universal appeal. The process of making the art as well as the meaning of it, are both an integral part of the end result and for me there is always a battle to harmonize between the two – to evoke the emotion of the piece and to empower the viewer.

I love combining traditional and new media painting techniques where one feeds off the energy of the other. The visual collaboration of both medias often celebrates a bold expressionism and optimistic edge regardless of subject matter.

My work has evolved from a mashing of referenced pop art and iconic imagery into elaborate multilayered portraits and scenes that depict a more personal interpretation of my life experience, battles and passions. My goal is to lead the observer to dramatic action, putting them on the edge between what we know and what is unknowable. I’ve learned that something new will always come about when you push hard enough and the result is the revelation of a “new identity”.

The motivation for me to keep going is to gain an understanding of how this “new identity or rebirth or truth” actually reflects my life as well as the world we live in – or not.

littleladiesandlattes: I went with grey because I'm boring as shit with colours ha! That's the first place we looked for prams.. The buggers must have got it in after we'd been 😒 @sinders_13 have you picked any names out yet?

sinders_13: Yeah as much as I'd love a pink pram I'm not quite sure even I would look right pushing it so I suppose black is pretty standard lol. And as for names my fella is useless whereas ive got a massive list. But so far were agreeing on Evelyn @louweasley
