Ariel Ultimate Princess Celebration Limited Edition Doll (2022)
Finally got around to deboxing this beauty and she's absolutely gorgeous! Her royal purple and blue gradient dress drapes magnificently around her like cascading waves. I love this Ariel so much more than the first one from this series. I've actually really enjoyed this series and the different takes on each princess, so am quite surprised it has been so unpopular.
I still have a Rapunzel and Aurora to debox, so will post them soon (hopefully)!

About Designer Rocio Cintron
Rocio Cintron was born in Washington, D.C. to Puerto Rican and Panamian parents. As a child, her love for art, toys, and Disney led her to pursue a creative career. After graduating with a Toy Design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Rocio landed her dream job at Disney, and has been adding a little sparkle to Disney toys since 2010.
Walt Disney's The Little Mermaid was not only Rocio's favourite film growing up, but it is also the source of her artistic inspiration. Princess Ariel resonated with Rocio because she longed to be part of two different worlds - celebrating her Latinx culture as an American.
Rocio's vision for Ariel's dress is a blend of painterly and modern aesthetics. To achieve this look, Rocio channelled memories of painting Puerto Rican seascapes with her father, who coincidentally resembles King Triton. The inspiration for Rocio's creativity stemmed from the end scene of The Little Mermaid when Ariel emerges from the water and onto land in her shimmering purple dress.

My Snow Queen Elsa 17'' doll (released November 2013, LE 2500) is now wearing the gown, petticoat, shoes, gloves and necklace of my Cinderella 18'' Limited Edition Doll (released October 2012, LE 5000). She loses some of her magic, and looks much more like a Princess in this outfit. Her smoky eyes and black necklace give her a much darker look than Cinderella's look in Elsa's gown. Her look reminds me of French 18th century aristocracy. I'm thinking that she is about to be guillotined by the French Revolution.
It was suggested to me that I swap the outfits of my Cinderella and Snow Queen Elsa 17'' Limited Edition Dolls by the Disney Store. Cinderella is listed at 18'', but that is only when you add the height of her hair.
They both have light blue gowns covered in rhinestones. But Cinderella's dress is a poofy ballgown, whereas Elsa's outfit is a slinky satin dress with a oversized cape attached to the back. They both have crystal ornaments in their hair, which I leave alone. I also leave Cinderella's headband alone. But I will place Cinderella's black beaded necklace on Elsa, and as well as her white jeweled gloves. I will also swap Cinderella's 'glass' slippers with Elsa's blue snowflake high heeled shoes.

The Tusk Lion Trail 2021
10 August – 24 September 2021
"The Tusk Lion Trail is a global celebration of African lions and the people who live alongside them through exceptional art.
27 life-sized lion sculptures, designed and made by some of the planet’s foremost artists, musicians and sportspeople, are roaming streets of London to highlight the threats currently faced by ‘the King of Beasts’, and to raise vital funds to support community conservation and livelihoods impacted by Covid-19 across Africa."
My LY Lea trying out her sissy's (snow queen Sophie human kay) wig. It looks great on her tan and eyes too.
We made a trip at sunset to the Boulder Airport...which seemed appropriate since La Mer is wearing an I Have Wings dress by Ro. Thank you, Ro! We love this dress!
Unfortunately, her collar was up...from all the handling...did I notice at the time? Of course not!! Will show better pix of the dress tomorrow.
