Not that it matters --- this is a neighborhood in Detroit that has been nearly abandoned.

Trying out a bigger space like a warehouse for this one, fairly happy with how it came out. controlling the light is harder in a bigger setup like this one. My main gripe is the blue and red colour combo, it bugs me for some reason, too clashy. Well, it's liminal space so I guess it fits the theme.

Came across this interesting place walking through an industrial zone. There was something unearthly about this landscape...

So I made some processing to add the picture a surreal touch.

Liminal is the place on the border of reality almost surreal empty

but giving the eerie feel of invisible presence .

Bit of a Silent Hill-esque photo walk

A twin shot this one: one with a figure and one without. I couldn't decide which one I liked more or seemed better, they're interesting for different reasons. The empty one feels more liminal with it's sickly green and blue wash but the one with the cleaner is nice with it's contrasting warm and cool tones. Plus it's nice to have a minifigure in there once in while :-)

This is a picture of a parking lot from the Tanbo Art lookout spot in Inakadate, Aomori, Japan.

Edited.

I tried my hand at some night photography checking out the NiSi Black Mist 1/8 filter. Both of which is still new to me. Also went with the theme of Liminal spaces. Does it qualify?

I enjoy living close to a lake, and its interesting to see how we are attracted to the spaces where the water meets the land.

how many layers of symmetry?
