Off out tonight and busy rest of the day so grabbed a quick half hours quality time with the beauty dish.
No ideas so just started snapping and ended up shooting hands again.
Socked beauty dish directly below hands pointing slightly back towards the camera so it just clipped my face. 1/4 power at 70mm.
Off out this evening so I'm not holding out much hope for tomorrows offering.

I was invited to take photos at a fundraising event in San Francisco. Many burners showed up at Monarch Gardens for the fundraiser of Treble Makers, a Burning Man camp.
I processed a balanced and a photographic HDR photo from a RAW exposure, blended them, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Another from last night's collab with Chris Thomson at the Luminaire event at Chatsworth House near Bakewell. This spot was close to the end of the walk and we nearly didn't photograph it due to the constant flow of people coming through. We waited for everyone else to leave and cracked on.
A couple of bursts of flash gelled red by Chris around the corner full power, then I squoze a cheeky orb out. Ooosh.

I was in the process of doing my usual hand shot then I thought I'd expand on last weeks image using my phone as the focal point.
Orange gelled Yongnuo 560iv through socked beauty dish from above 1/16th. Blue gelled and snooted Yongnuo 560iv pointing up also on 1/16th.
Tripod swap to in front of the tablet and rotated and zoom pulled my fractal of the moment for 540 degrees for the swirl.
This is number 250 of my 366.
More of the same tonight but using a different light blade. I did a few more intricate versions but I settled on this one in the end due to simplicity of the form and the fact it reminded me of a sea creature.

El uritorco después de que la tormenta se haya ido y cuando llega la calma. El viento sureste sopla y las nubes descienden por el frente y materializan la niebla, dominada por los rayos del sol de la mañana en un contraluz muy interesante que deja ver las crestas de la morfología de la parte frontal. Tonos cálidos en contraste con el fondo de la montaña en sombra.
Me parece interesante fotografiar este tipo de situaciones y no me canso de capturarlas una y otra vez, creo que realmente es un cerro sagrado y genera un magnetismo espontáneo y casual a ciertos seres que estamos conectados a él.

I stayed at a friend's flat in Hamburg, Germany for a few days. I love the light that the front rooms would get throughout the day. A great place for coffee, easy conversation, and to relax as the bustling city-street hums below.
