There was no shortage of neon (or pseudo-neon) lights on the Coral Princess. This shot was of the glass lighting fixtures on the staircase landings.

This design came to mind while I was building a card board model for a more complex lighting fixture. I thought it looked a little like a poppy seed.
It takes about 20-25 hours to cut and stitch. At this point Istill need to finnish the outer edge of the petals but ran out of linnen thread, however I was so happy with it I wanted toshare right away

Latest piece. Its entitled "Separation Anxiety". Funny how this piece like so many others was originally designed to hang one way but ended up looking better the other way.
