Searching for the light,
and those unknown inner worlds --
to share your story.
It's those unknown hidden places that you discover while traveling through the forest that often offer a brief yet wonderful moment. If you are lucky, you capture the light while you can. On this trip I was extra lucky and had a chance to experiment with in camera double exposure to render the light in a more interpretive manner.

The light beams are back in Upper Antelope Canyon. Here's one I haven't photographed before. I thought it was neat how the light was hitting the side of the wall rather than the sandy floor (with all the footprints). This was in a pretty dark section of the canyon and the surrounding rocks provided great contrast.
Anvilcloud and I hopped in the van made a rush to the old fire station to catch some of the light from this sunset unencumbered by hills and power lines. A photo he captured that evening may be seen here.
A couple of shots of morning light, captured on my phone... those mornings I kick myself for forgetting the camera!
...we are made of light, in everything there is light, and when we can't see it, we must know it is just a moment...light is all we need to see this beautiful special world...
I was going to wait until it was really dark but I decided I would just turn the little light bulb on!!

I am very impressed with the dynamic range of my new (secondhand) A7iii, and the resultant details in the dark areas.
