I realized around bedtime yesterday that I hadn't taken a photo yet, so I decided to snap one of the only thing well-lit enough: the light fixture in our living room.

Then once the tile is up and wrapped all the way around the counters, up to the cabinets and out to the door...your sight line is NOT broken and thus it makes the room flow and look bigger...just love that :D

Day 3 of the July Challenge.

I'm really liking this challenge because I can actually get out after dark (and after the kids are in bed) and look for new subjects. I don't feel pressured to get a shot during the day while I'm working or as soon as I get home for the evening.

This is another photo from around our property. Just a light with some bushes around it. I thought it was kind of interesting how the bushes almost appear to be reaching for the light, but that's probably just due to the fact that the leaves near the light are better lit than those further away.

Maybe you'd prefer to read the Bengali version of the sign around the corner.

Do not bring to this your understandings of what a "minimart" is. This is a mini market.

The New Mini Market's colors are pale green, grayish blue, white, red, and green. Per Google Streetview, the area of white paint was added sometime between August 2015 and July 2017. The pale green and grayish blue paints are from sometime between July 2009 and August 2011, and replaced a white and yellow color scheme.

The white-on-red awning is from sometime between September 2007 and July 2009, and replaced the white-on-green awning of the Conant Mini Supermarket.

The building was erected in 1935 and I would like to see a picture of it from the days before the concrete blocks were added.

Note the boxes behind, those are lamps to be hardwired, the popup mixer stand by RevAShelf, a Moen faucet, and the big box on bottom is the Sharp Microwave 24 inch drawer. The window wall will be coming down and the bed will exit stage left. The boxes stay.
