!st August 2014 light painting session with Dave at Noirmont Point, St Brelade, Jersey.... lasted well after midnight and I ended up crawling back in the house very late trying not to wake anyone
Used BMX to get to lightpainting bridge, but as it is wet tonite, i slipped a pedal, wiped out, drew blood, first picture of a short session.
Ouch.

Light Physics, Love Chemistry and Plant Biology.
1. Physics of Light: The florescence on its wings is due to reflection of the sun rays that fall on the wings at a certain incidence angle. Those who love about light and reflections can study light patterns by analyzing the surface structure of its wings.
2. Biological Phenomenon: Love happens between plants through the process called as pollination. The nectar attracts all animals from tiny insects to birds like sunbirds and hummingbirds. When they consume nectar, their food, the plants paint up the animal bodies with pollen. Once a plant's pollen lands in another plant's flower, it pollinates the flower and it bears fruit.
Such love spread by bees is called as apiphily. Here the orange-yellow pollen grains are seen on this carpenter bee's body.

From an original by "NEO" titled, fix my pic.
I really liked this photo very much, the pathes reminded me of the poem, "the road less traveled". I used the lasso tool to select a postion of the left side of the road, and duplicated and distorted to cover a bald spot in the trees. I used the pen tool to create an emerald city. I used this on several layers, some as light applicators and some as multipliers and blend it into the tree tops. I used the airbrush eraser to clean up the edges as well.

Well, this picture is pretty old, I know. However, by looking through old pictures, I noticed this
one, and I couldn't help myself, I had to load it up. It is REALLY the last one of this series, I promise ;-)

From an original by notna2000 titled, Lonliness in Time Square.
I thought this was a great photo. I used the lasso tool to select portion and duplicated them to several layers. I added some motion blur as well as using the distort function to add the streaking. I applied this with different lighting modes to try and have them blend with the layers below. I used the airbrush eraser to bring the model forward of the layers and adjusted the color tone on her face somewhat. I also added some darkness to the top right portion of the original to try and help bring more emphasis to the model.

The Street Parade is with over 1 Million visitors the most attended technoparade in the world, since the end of Love Parade 2010. It takes place in Zurich, Switzerland and is the largest annual event in Zurich. Alain Berset, Switzerland's culture minister, and this year's president of the confederation, was among the 920'000 people attending the 30th Street Parade in Zurich.
