Unless you change yourself nothing is gonna change.

isn't it wonderful how even though broken and weary at times , nature never gives up ..... this little guy was so broken and yet he followed me everywhere i went today as if to teach me another one of God's glorious lessons ....

Right after the blue jay ran Brother out of the tree, a parent showed up with another big cicada. No baby kite waiting for food. Parents have lots of tricks up their sleeves so this time the adult decided to teach the lesson that if you don't show up for your food, someone else will eat it. This is the first time I've captured the pretty red feathers in an adult kite's wings, they don't often show.

A Dog’s Life: K2 Turned 4 As Kennedy Bravely Faced The Sunset Of Life - IMRAN®

We all must face the sunset of life, whether man or beast. How we live our life, and how we face our end, are what differentiate the ordinary from the great. There is so much poignancy in this photo I took one year ago; emotions well up in me as I write these lines.

Kennedy showed his grace, sitting in the background of this photo at his forever home. Nothing could stop him from showing his beautiful smile and glowing love, regardless of what he was going through. The setting sun on Tampa Bay washed him and K2 in a golden light.

When my beloved Kennedy came into my life as a rescued German Shepherd, he was estimated to be between 4 and 5 years old. He had survived life on the streets of Texas, where he was abandoned despite someone spending thousands on some amazing training he’d had.

He had hip dysplasia. He also survived the brutal treatment for heartworm and other diseases he had before I got him. On paper, he would’ve been the last dog I’d want.

Who knew how long he would live or what other issues he would have? But in reality, there is no dog in the world I would have chosen to be mine forever, whatever time I would have him. Best Dog Ever!

School of life

I don't remember exactly why but it was some sort of school holiday, and the regular school was off. So the boy accompanied his farmer father to the fields where the musturd plants needed his father's attention. In his eyes his father was a super hero, best of all the fathers in the world, who could do wonders with the plants. In his heart he dreamt to be one like him when he would grew up. So he followed his father though the fields, watched in rapt attention his every move, ever ready to help in any way possible . So in the time of harvesting he could say that they had grown the musturds together. And in the mean time they were having a great time together.

May be they are not rich or affluent in worldly wealth but some how I feel both of them are very very lucky and rich in many many ways !

seek first to understand, then to be understood...

Stephen Covey

i've found myself contemplating the many aspects and problems of communication lately, both verbal and written. Communication is the main artery in which to connect with another human being, which is in itself, innate...and what we desire and fear the most.

To speak and be spoken to...to hear and be heard. The latter is so much harder to do...

"Go Fly A Kite!" is often used as a dismissive phrase, a way of telling someone to go away. But when you think about it literally, flying a kite is actually an act of collaboration and connection. A kite can only soar when faced with resistance, and it takes teamwork to balance the line, guide the kite, and manage the unpredictable forces of nature.

This interplay of tension and cooperation turns a simple activity into something symbolic.

Flying a kite reflects how challenges, when embraced with the help of others, can lead to triumph and beauty. Instead of being an act of rejection, the phrase transforms into an invitation—to work together, embrace resistance, and rise above.

A Dog's Life: Dogs In Rearview Mirrors Are Closer (To Our Hearts) Than They Appear - IMRAN™

Kennedy, my precious German Shepherd Dog, taught me so much about life.

We all have to face the last sunset of our lives one day. We can only hope to learn from our dogs. To remain stoic and brave, to retain our dignity and smile, and be grateful for all the adventures on the roads of life we shared.

No matter how far back in the rearview mirrors of cars or memories of life our precious dogs seem, they are forever closer to our hearts than they appear, even when they are gone.

Kennedy, Best Dog Ever.

Greetings my beloved flickr family!

It has been a long time but life has been crazy busy for me.

I am happy to say that some of the busy-ness has been for good reasons, one being my book Pearls of Wisdom from the oyster called Life, which has been 5+yrs in the making.

I had a failed attempt just over 4yrs ago when I went through a self publishing company, which I wasn't happy with so it led me to abandon the book.

Around 1+ yrs ago I received a message from higher Source that I needed to put the book out, I decided to re-design the whole book and start again...I designed the pages and told God that if HE wanted me to put the book out, HE needed to bring me someone to design the cover...as always God never fails me so HE literally brought the designer to me!

At the moment it's only available through contacting me on my flickr mail or natcor54@gmail.com.

As soon as I can find the time I will start marketing it properly and the follow up book called 'expanding the pearls' will follow!

I hope to also put it on amazon but at the moment I'm waiting for the other company to take my original one down...they haven't been very co-operative.

With Love Light and Gratitude!

Natalie! x

PS I couldn't find where to copy the html of the other two photos I posted so I could put them in the comment box below, so you'll have to go view them if you want an idea of what the book looks like inside.

It's nice and colourful! :)

When The Universe Looks Down At You Under A Martian Sunset, What Does It See? - IMRAN™

Take a moment to read this and think, even as you enjoy the video. This is an interesting week in space and planetary news. The moon, which is nearly 250,000 miles away, will appear very close to the red planet, Mars, sometime on Thursday morning.

At that time Jupiter and Saturn will also appear nearby, even though their actual distances are far greater. At different times in their orbits, Jupiter can be 600 million miles away and Mars can be as much as 150 million. Saturn can be just over a BILLION miles away. Imagine that, a BILLION miles.

Yet, we can sit here on our tiny blue planet and soak in their views in the night sky with our naked eyes. As you watch this absolutely unedited, unprocessed, SOOC (straight out of camera), video taken from my DJI Phantom 4 drone three years ago, soak in the mind-blowing sunset at just one secluded spot on Tampa Bay, my blessed home in Apollo Beach, Florida. Then try to think about the countless equally or even more stunning sunset scenes happening even on our own planet at other places around the globe which we may never get to see all of in our lifetimes, no matter how much we travel.

Now imagine, beyond imagination, what visions must be happening this very moment on millions of other spots even on our nearby planets. Then, in an instant, you will realize that even the limitless human imagination cannot begin to fathom what else is happening in other planetary systems in BILLIONS of other galaxies, some of which we cannot even imagine the size and scope of.

Then, imagine, if you can, that nature, or energy, or the universe, or God, or whatever you believe in, looking down at us for one fleeting moment. Imagine that is the only instant you, with your thoughts, and your actions, are going to be noticed. Right here. Right now.

Will you come across as an insignificant non-entity whose absence will not be noticed if you cease to be? Or, will Nature see someone whose deeds and hateful ways would be a benefit to the universe to be without?

Or, by some chance and by some choices you made, are you someone whom even all the powers in the Universe, and all the deities real and imagined, look down at and gasp in awe, when they realize and say, "Here is a person that uplifts the very spirit of life in all its forms! Even as a speck of stardust, or a body of flesh and bones, here is someone who is worth the gods of the universe to look up to, for inspiration."

You choose, by your deeds and words, your thoughts and ideas, your dreams and desires, which of the three categories you belong to. Choose wisely.

Enjoy the sunset, and make the new day tomorrow one worth the opportunity that the universe and God give you, every day, no matter what hardship you face today. Make tomorrow count, every day. Good Luck, and Good Night!

I always attract angels and butterflies in and out of sl..Im grateful for the warmth and genuine love..They heal me as I do get stung from being too kindhearted #LifeLessons #BigGirlLife #TallGirl #Love #Bigsupport

On my 5th day of observation, I saw a parent kite fly to the feeding tree with a cicada but there were no babies waiting for snacks. The parent took off again just as Brother arrived. Brother was too late; the parent flew off with food still clutched in one foot. Hopefully life lesson learned, you snooze, you lose.

Gold is precious nowadays since currency value is depreciating. Even a government can default on payment or print money notes as they wish and people will have very little confidence on the paper bills.

Autumn gold is precious too. If you are in the autumn of your life and want to show off the gold to others, what will it be?

Will it be the wealth you have earned, your career, your friendship, your amazing stories of life (like the movie Big Fish), your faith in human nature or your creative art of photography?

This is golden maples seen in Van Dusen Garden last weekend.

Happy Tuesday to you!

A Dog’s Life: Kennedy Bravely Faced Every Challenge With A Smile - IMRAN®

At the end of March 2024, I took my beloved German Shepherd, Kennedy, to the vet. He had started having difficulty not only going to the bathroom but also urinating—symptoms he had never displayed before. I brought him to the veterinary clinic on Apollo Beach Boulevard, hoping for answers.

As K2 and I waited, the doctor approached me with Kennedy. With a mix of compassion and honesty, she gently shared heartbreaking news: Kennedy didn’t have a typical blockage. Instead, he had an aggressive, inoperable tumor that had grown rapidly, making it impossible for him to pass anything through his system.

Brave as always, Kennedy had tried countless times but simply couldn’t. My world shattered as I realized I had to make the unfathomable decision of how much time I could spend with him before saying goodbye forever. I saw tears in the doctor’s eyes as she revealed she had faced the same sorrow with her own dog just a year before.

In a video I recorded at home one year ago, you can hear my voice tremble with emotion as I fought back tears while talking to Kennedy. Despite everything, he remained steadfast—bravely smiling, a true testament to his loving, loyal nature.

It’s been a year since that moment, and even now, as I type these words, I am overcome with grief, crying like a child. Kennedy, Best Dog Ever.
