Each hammer has a job that is does...
The top hammer does roofing...
The middle hammer does metal working...
The bottom hammer works the midnight shift at MacDonald's...

I was in Parkanaur forest park one evening last year and only had my phone with me... ever the opportunist, I snapped these gorgeous rhododendron blossoms and was pretty pleased with the result.
Just a few days later and the petals were gone..... As always, nature has a way of teaching us life lessons... In a day and age when looks and beauty are counted so important (by the fashion/beauty industry - not by me!!!) it's wise to remember that these things only last for a while and that real beauty comes from deep within, it's the heart that counts!!!! and that's not just something "ugly" people say! :)
I will be off air for a while - have an important visitor from Canada coming to stay with me for a couple of days - so i'm busy making fudge, banoffee pie, chocolate cake and loads of other goodies lol
Have a great weekend everyone and thank you for your views, comments and faves :) :) :)

Don't be in such a rush to grow up, Kitten. The World has many lessons to teach. Not everything you learn comes from a book.
Take a moment to smell the daffodils, make a mistake and rely on the experience of your elders. They have a lot to teach, you only have to listen, for respect is earned, not given.
It's a great big world, Kitten, and it's yours for the taking. However, you can not have it until your ready. You just haven't earned it yet baby.
Gorgeous Green Trees Line The Racetrack Road Of Life's Years Flying By - IMRAN™
I am sure these trees have seen many decades or even centuries of travelers pass underneath during our worldly journeys in our earthly journeys. It is amazing how the years fly.
I took this photo 15 years ago and did not get a chance to post it until now. I was driving with a beautiful beloved, Christie, as we went from my then fabulous Singer Island Tiara Condo north on A1A in Florida. The Nikon Coolpix E5700 photo did not have GPS embedded in it, but I believe it is somewhere in the areas of Jupiter to Hobe Beach.
We later met with my dear friend Roger and his wife Joyce, at a nearby airport, They had flown in on their beautiful Piper Dakota, with a powerful 235 HP 6-cylinder engine making it effortlessly fly the four adults in it. .
Roger let me fly his plane and we went to Sebring, Florida, for lunch and a gorgeous day of flying, as some fabulous sports-cars raced around the track, before we headed back home.
In the race of life, the years fly by... and the road ahead may have expected turns and unexpected potholes, cool shades and dark shadows, living tree trunk and dead tree stumps. It is our choices today on what we see and avoid, what we embrace and enjoy, what keeps us rooted, what we leverage to help us stand tall, or even what we allow to stump us along the way.
Choose wisely, as the decades will surely fly by faster than you can imagine.

I fully understand that I am a philosophy freak and idiot.
I always see the philosophical wisdom in regular daily scenes just like the one here.
My friend told me there is totally nothing unusual in this. But I find great life lesson here. I would not tell the exact meaning with my own words,
I will leave it to your own interpretations. :o)
Have a great Monday and great week!
This is just repost of an old picture taken in the summer.
What is life?
Life is a messy scene with all the details and mixed lighting like what we see in the indoor public market.
Life is buying and selling all the time.
Life is like cooking food from raw to processed.
Life (in photographic terms) is shooting with JPEG in the wrong white balance and sadly with irreversible processing.
Life is everyday being one day closer to the end and that is the point when we can see Robin Williams again and listen to his wonderful jokes.
What is life looking like to you?
I just tried again the film simulation bracketing with my X-T1 and I have used Standard Provia, B&W with yellow filter and the Pro Negative High while I went shooting in Richmond Public Market.
Surprisingly I find the Pro Negative High film simulation is extremely good especially for indoor mixed lighting. What do you think?
If you happen to be a X camera user also, can you please give me your opinion about Pro Negative High?
Have a great evening!

A baby woodpecker was practicing food finding skills on my pecan tree. They listen for sounds of bugs hiding under the bark then use their tongue to go after them. Pecan trees are good sources since they have soft wood. It is easy to pry under the bark for the goodies.

Life is fragile. I have heard the story of a person diagnosed with cancer and passed away in a month’s time.
Yet life is strong and tough. Many living beings survive in tough conditions.
It looks contradicting. The lesson is like what is being said in Buddhist teachings.
There is no constancy in life. There is no norm or constant rule in the world.
Don’t ever think these norms are always happening.
When you work hard, you will be rewarded.
When you study hard, you will get high grades.
When you make great arts, you will be recognized as a great artist.
When you love, you will be loved.
Some people say we should live like life ends tomorrow.
Do what you want to do before it is too late. May be this is a hug to yourself?
Happy Thursday!

We had just finished a wonderful tall mast sunset sailboat cruise this summer in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, and were walking back to the car. I happened to turn around and see this scene unfolding. I grabbed my camera one more time and ran down to the docks to capture this wonderful scene of a Father teaching his kids to fish in the last of the evening light.
The grass is not always greener on the other side after all...

Sometimes, we don't learn it the first time. That's okay. It takes practice and time to master a skill. #ExpectationTherapy - bit.ly/ExpectationBook
Another image I shot from when I went to Birmingham the other day! Thank you to @richjjones for the really good advice and life lessons, I learnt a lot from this day! I hope to shoot more and better composed images in the future. One big thing I took away from that day is that setting your camera aside and exploring your subject is better than just rushing to take the image!

Time/Line(d): Joys Of Random Alignments 02:11:11 01/02/2021 - IMRAN™
Got a second? Lend a hand. Or two, or three. Not to me but to your own self. Take a moment to align ... all three hands on the long arms of time of our too short journeys... live, love, laugh.
I happened to see the seconds-hand of a brand-new clock moving towards being totally in-line with the minutes & hours hands on this wall clock I just mounted. I bought it to match the wall color in my living room when the previous timepiece died.
I took the photo just half a second before their total alignment would’ve made it impossible to make out the three separate hands. Nothing earth -shaking to commemorate, it would seem, right? Just another second of the thousands we take for granted, daily. True. But.... stop, see, speculate.
It is a very special event. Not because of the random alignment of the hands on a wall clock, which literally happen every hour at different spots on the clock face. Not because I hung a new thing on the wall. Instead, realize and appreciate that this is another moment you’re blessed to have. Another opportunity to appreciate the tiny details of life which can be routinely ignored or regularly missed, — or by choice turned into something to celebrate,... a moment of joy, a tiny synchronicity, something more to smile about and be grateful for.
Gather enough of moments like these and even the most ordinary days can add up to a happy life fully lived, totally savored. Have you smiled at some random moment of joy today? Do it now. Tick-Tock. Tick-Tick-Tock.

Forget Silver, Darkest Clouds Have Gold Linings - IMRAN™
Forget about dark clouds having silver linings. Here, right in front of my eyes, and for all who live in the Tampa Bay, Florida, area and happened to see this breathtaking, dramatic, sunset tonight, darkest clouds have gold linings. But, not matter where you are, no matter what your situation, no matter what your challenges, just know, it is after the worst storms, the most whipping winds, the darkest clouds, and the choppiest seas, that the most magical of experiences worth their weight in gold emerge. You are not alone. You will overcome. For tomorrow is a new day, and tonight you just have to learn to savor the darkest experiences for the golden dreams they can uncover.
This is a 560MB panorama from just 3 handheld Nikon D850 photos, merged in Lightroom. NO editing was done to ANY part of the clouds or sunset, which are SOOC (straight out of camera colors and tones). The water was too dark in the combined image so only that was brightened so you can see the wavelets, and the signs. It will be posted as a JPG of 37MB. But FaceBook will reduce the quality to near useless levels. For example, can you see a pelican soaring over the horizon towards Saint Petersburg in the FaceBook photo? I will post a little clip of that part of the image in comments to show how much detail images lose in crappy FaceBook image versions. Always check out flickr.com/ImranAnwar to see much better quality of the photos.

Although the little squirrel and the man do not speak a common language, they do understand each other pretty well I am guessing.
Sometimes wordless communication is as effective as the one with words?
This is a scene I saw in our local Minoru Park in 2013.
I do appreciate your words and comments so that I know what you think about the picture. Thank you my friends!
Have a great Friday and weekend!
This is repost of an archive picture. The following is the original story.
The squirrel runs on to the man's lap and picks up a peanut. Then the squirrel stays at a distance and starts enjoying the meal. The same repeats for a few times before I take the shot. There is no begging by squirrel, no demand on anything from the man, keeping a distance between the two, equal status despite of difference in size and the consistency in the behaviour of both parties.
Is this something an inspiration for us about how to build the mutual trust between two parties? It could be partners, married couple, friends, family, business or other relationships.
A snapshot at Minoru Park.
Happy Wednesday!
New Zealand Photographic Road Trip
Day 1
Rakaia Gorge - Day 1 starts with a visit at Rakaia Gorge, Methven, located in the Mt Hutt area of the Canterbury region. Many of the riverbeds are braided. Braided rivers are those that, over some part of their length, flow in multiple, mobile channels across a gravel floodplain.
Terminal Two Too, At The End, I Exit Stage Right - IMRAN™
Al the world’s a stage.... Life is a journey. Et tu... There are many phrases describing our time alive. Dates marking milestones, when we’re embarking on the one way trip, to distant places of our final disembarking. In the long term, no matter what terms we desire or what conditions we live in, the terms & conditions of our earthly contract require that our days contract to zero, even if we’re a hero, in reality or merely in our minds. Mind you, minds fade, bodies contract, but the impacts of our good deeds expand and legacies of great acts grow. One day we all reach the terminus, whether through a terminal ailment, or a crashing end due to the collisions of fate and destiny ending our physical travels through the space time continuum. What continues are the memories we take with us, and the joys we leave behind in those whom we leave behind. The irony, the ones we leave behind continue into the future beyond us, continuing spinning around the solar ace of our planets, finding solace in knowing that in our end we went to a time and space with no end. So, dear fellow traveler today, or a future journeying reader long after I’m gone, gone may be my physical remains, but my presence in your mind and heart shall remain, long after I, IMRAN, EXIT (stage / right). (Thoughts inspired just from placing my name watermark in this Photo I took at JFK Terminal 2).

Dive into it and swim through to the other side....Try to resist it and it will knock you down.
That's a life lesson for all of us when we're hit by any unwanted change. Don't resist!....Dive all the way in until you've made it through.
