Today and everyday I am very thankful for so many things. I have tried to teach my children to also be thankful.
Today, during dinner, my daughter gathered our family/guests around, passed out a paper she had printed, stood upon a chair and told everyone what she was thankful for.
Today I am especially thankful for the fact that my child is able to understand just what it means to be thankful. I am thankful that she is loving, kind and willing to share and can make a room of hungry guests stop and listen to some very wonderful thoughts of a lovely 9 year old girl.

While trying to fall asleep last night I realized I hadn't posted a picture for the 52 Weeks, My Kid(s) & Me series. I knew I had to post something today and since the kids are at school I went into my "library" and decided to post this picture. It's a few years old, but that's OK...this picture makes me happy♥

Unedited shot of people enjoying the first Spring'ish day in Amsterdam last weekend. Taken with my Sony HX1.
Saturday was a lovely, sunny day and everybody was outside, trying to catch as much of the sunshine as possible, it was sooo nice! I started my morning with coffee on my balcony, always a good way to begin the adventure of a new day in the best city in the world, and that lead towards a relaxed day out in the streets, armed with my camera to capture the spirit of a typical Spring day, even though it's only February. Let's hope we'll get loooots of those days in the weeks and months to come, a bit of sunshine makes everything just so much nicer :)

Another stunner from my backyard this evening... Grilled out some AMAZING Rib-Eye steaks and baked potatoes and watched all this happen while I was manning the grill. Grabbed my camera and got a quick shot.

My third Grizzly tour with Tide Rip Grizzly to Knight Inlet was during June of 2021 with two of my best girl friends, Ivy and Caroline, and a group of fellow photographers. It was awesome to be with like minded people. We watched this baby bear play on the rocks for about 45 minutes. It was so much fun! (Shot with Nikon d850 700mm, cropped and edited on LR mobile).
