Theme: Green
I've been feeling quite unwell all week, so I wasn't able to get out with my camera at all. While at work Friday night, I thought I probably wouldn't be able to get a photo for this week's theme...and as I pondered this, I gazed over at my green work bag on my desk...hmmm...it just might do, I thought. So last night before I left for work, I took this photo. It's certainly not the most fascinating subject, but it's a personal one for me. This bag carries everything I might need for my long shifts at the hospital...keys, calipers, stethoscope, clothes, food. And I love that every time I look at it, no matter how tired I am, or how crazy my shift is, it reminds me that life is good. And it is.

It's Monday again, everybody is sloooowly getting out of bed, putting on some clothes and a brave face, hopping onto their bikes or into their cars, zig-zagging through traffic to make it to work on time, counting down the days and hours until it's weekend again and we can all get some rest from the rat-race...too negative for the start of the week?! OK, let me try again: Almost weekend, just a few measly days to go and we can again enjoy several days of doing only things we want to do, meet friends, eat delicious food and enjoy life to the max, yay :)

I got my baby back in the mail today! Thank god, my film camera was obviously crapping out on me, so my rebel got here just in time! Oh, and gigantic thanks to Canon for fixing her up for free. I don't know how that all works out, but I am so grateful because I didn't know how I was going to pay for the repairs. It's lovely how things work out sometimes.
Oh, the past 2 days have been great. Frank from Post Secret came yesterday to our school to talk with us and it was a really wonderful experience. I won't even begin to express how I feel about Post Secret and how grand it is, because that could go on forever.
And then today, I passed my exam!, got my camera back in the mail, and had an excellent time handing out flowers to random individuals. I wish I could have recorded the reactions I got when I offered them a flower... it was such a range in emotions. Some were confused, some were skeptical, and some looked deeply touched and genuinely thankful. It was a wonderful experience and I hope to do it again soon
I'm just very happy right now. I don't know how long this will all last and I honestly don't care. I'm going to soak it up for all it's worth and enjoy it in this beautiful moment I'm living in right now, and that's good enough for me.
