MeiMei my cat! - her name in chinese means "little sister".
She was born wild on a neighboring rooftop, here in Ajijic village, and as a tiny kitten became my house cat. But why and how... that is a long story (((:
I took this picture through the drivers side window from the passenger seat, while my husband was driving us on a trip to see his mom.We were going 60 miles an hour so I was surprised it turned out at all.
I'm trying to get all caught up.The first couple of months of pregnancy makes me so tired, but I think I'm about through this tired stage though. Now if my 19 month old would just get through her busy non-stop movement stage,I think I could get caught up.lol
I'll see you guys when I can.
Typical Amsterdam buildings, reflected in a puddle.
I like the way the stem of the leaf is piercing the water surface and makes it look like it's breaking through the barrier between the real world and the wicked reflection world living under water, inside Amsterdam's puddles :))

7-On Christmas Eve 2008 a really cool “gift” arrived in the mail – a contract from a publisher for my first book. (**Update** My book was released October 2009 and remains one of the best selling books for my publisher**) My new book is in production now.
8-When I wanted to learn more about photography I contacted a photographer from Vogue Magazine and the photographer responsible for album/cd covers for Pink Floyd, the Muse, Peter Gabriel, et al. and asked if they would teach me. They both said yes and still check on my progress.
9-A pill I take each and every day keeps me alive and I will continue this until there is a cure, but the virus i have doesn’t stop me from living the way life should be lived.
