"It is not work that kills men, it is worry. Work is healthy; you can hardly put more on a man than he can bear. But worry is rust upon the blade. It is not movement that destroys the machinery, but friction."
~Henry Ward Beecher

How to Be Worry Free While Being Active in Day to Day Work
Avoid worries and welcome cheerfulness into life. It is easy to achieve so go ahead and enjoy!
Steps
1.) Before going to sleep drink a cup of milk or any other non-intoxicating healthy drink that is easy on your stomach.
2.) Sit quietly, and suggest to yourself that the day went well, despite some activities that were acceptable and some that were not acceptable. Mentally resolve to start the next day without so many unacceptable events.
3.) Resolve to give a fair chance to others to express themselves and to hear them out with patience.
4.) If the day passed with some unsavoury events, think how to forgive and forget at least mentally. This will make your next day much more pleasant.
5.) Think about beautiful things around you, like flowers, the vast sky with stars, mountains, rivers, birds, animals in their happy mood.
6.). All this should take about 5 to 10 minutes.
7.) Now lie down and slowly close your eyes and relax your body starting from your toes gradually and up to your head.
8.) Sleep peacefully!
9.) Get up as early as possible and resume your work.
10.) You are sure to be cheerful if followed for a week continuously.
11Never take anything intoxicating, because it relaxes only your physical body by making it lose its firmness. It does nothing to soothe your mind in a gentle way.
12.). Do not eat food that is heavy, too hot, spicy etc. that would put more of a strain on your liver and other organs and could take an extra hour to digest. Be sympathetic to them, after all they are doing your work.
13.) Do not entertain harsh feelings towards others, even though what they might have done is totally unacceptable to you. This can be achieved by suggesting to yourself that no two days are identical in your life thus far.

A gorgeous sunny Sunday -- warm, a little breezy, quiet, peaceful. Rather heavenly for grazing in the greens.
I love creating minibooks made from paperbags. I simply fold them in half and sew them together with my sewing machine.
In Speedway, so many people love to garden and their yards reflect that love. They are often tucked next to a drive, street, house, or walkway. Many choose lovely or "quirky" ornaments for their gardens as well.
This garden is near our home but between two houses. It's at the edge of the property. Such a pretty one.

Justamente mi foto número 100, qué casualidad!
Earlier this spring when I would look out the window I would notice a (lucky) streak of red flying by, followed by the most beautiful birdsong serenading the neighborhood. It turns out a pair of cardinals has made our yard their home and of course I immediately dubbed them Gwen & Blake; Gwen the female is more elusive and sweet and rather shy, whereas Blake is bold and fearless as you can see by this photo. One morning I propped the patio door open for Bella and in flew Blake. He stopped to pose of course, as I quickly grabbed my camera from the dining room table to capture a magical, fleeting moment on the most ordinary day.
